Are you ready to be inspired?

Microsoft not only develops solutions that fit the needs of the market but also shares its knowledge and experiences with its partners around the world. Since 2002, Microsoft has held an annual conference where it outlines a work path and strategies for the following year, a massive event that undoubtedly steals the limelight in the technology and digital industry.

This event was held in different cities until 2019, and for the first time in 17 years, was transmitted in digital format by the world contingency and completely open to the public, with the impressive participation of more than 100,000 attendees.

For two full days, Microsoft gave access to more than 500 sessions to interact, debate, and learn about the new reality that we are living in and the near future that companies must face, through skills, practices, value bets, and everything to generate new opportunities with customers.

Top new features of Microsoft Inspire 2020

There were many topics that Microsoft highlighted and shared with its viewers. However, for the attendees from Echez Group, there was highly relevant content that not only involved learning but also will allow our company to internally implement a faster, more efficient and effective adaptation to this new reality, thanks to this technology giant.

Evolution of working environments

While it is true that new innovation models must be promoted to help our clients manage their business and evolve in a changing work environment, for Microsoft, unique tools are required to facilitate this process. Improvements to Azure Lighthouse in security, a roadmap information with Azure Well-Architected Framework optimizes the use of the cloud and service packages for Lenovo Managed Services, making the future look much brighter for the support of our customers.

In addition, Microsoft introduced Azure Stack HCI, a hybrid storage center that leverages data and optimizes our customers’ existing infrastructures and investments. Lastly, Microsoft unveiled enhancements to Azure Migrate as a fundamental migration and support tool for Azure VMware.

Power platform, and other corporate solutions.

Innovation also comes with these new Power Platform solutions that will allow workers to return to their workplace safely, with a comprehensive set of end-to-end modules that help organizations plan, coordinate and manage this return with confidence and security.

We’re talking about location preparedness, to enable facility managers and workforce managers to determine the readiness of their facilities and efficiently manage their safe reopening, as well as make informed decisions quickly using critical factors such as Covid-19 infection rates and supply availability.

In addition, Dynamics 365 has new applications such as Customer Voice, Connected Store, and Fraud Protection, so that physical business operations migrate to digital activities safely.

On the other hand, Teams, Microsoft’s collaboration platform, highlighted an alliance with third-party apps that broadens the experience in meetings. Secondly, the Microsoft Endpoint Data Loss Prevention preview was announced on Microsoft 365, which will help customers identify and protect information on corporate devices. Finally, Universal Print is a new feature in Microsoft 365 that facilitates printing through the cloud.

Collaborative work and improved communication

Microsoft also surprised attendees with the renewal of Yammer, the communication platform with an improved design and functionality that will be integrated into teams to improve the experience of communities with each other. Tools such as walkie-talkie, that offer direct and secure communication between members and Data flex, which allows customers to develop, implement and manage applications and chatbots with Power Apps and Power Virtual Agent within the application itself, caused a stir at the event.

What is the learning curve for the Echez group?

There are many challenges that must be faced as individuals, professionals, but above all as a team and as a company. In this case, for Echez Group, the learning process has been directed in different ways:

  • In the need to adapt, evolve and rely on work and collaboration tools that allow us to improve not only for our clients but also for our employees that can develop growth and adaptation skills to different situations.
  • The importance of optimizing and providing solutions and services of value in a digital format that allows our clients to improve their processes and procedures in a safe and effective way in any given situation.
  • The implementation of tools designed by Microsoft to promote digital marketing, networking, and artificial intelligence in order to innovate and improve the provision of our products and services.

In conclusion, Microsoft, beyond being a world leader in technology and development, is a pillar of knowledge and experience that makes it possible for companies like Echez Group to achieve exponential growth, either in the face of a pandemic or a reality such as the digital transformation that we are already experiencing.
